Time & Location

Sep 14, 2024, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Noe Valley Ministry, 1021 Sanchez St, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA

About the event

Featuring: Patrick Condon, James Taylor Chair in Landscape and Liveable Environments at the University of British Columbia. A former city planner, Condon was for years a supporter of widespread upzoning of Vancouver — a theory now embraced to reduce housing costs in California — until it backfired.

Public Policy: What empirical evidence exists for upzoning?

Housing Costs: Won't increasing supply drive down costs?

Affordability: Will density requirements make it more affordable?

Join us on Saturday, September 14 at 3 PM at 1021 Sanchez (23rd & Elizabeth).
