About the event

The Sunset/Parkside District 4, along with many neighborhoods in western San Francisco, face significant upzoning mandated by the State and the City, aiming to raise building height throughout the area. These significantly taller structures won't address affordable housing but will instead lead to luxury high-rises, tenant and small business displacement, and neighborhood gentrification, profoundly impacting our neighborhood and

quality of life for all residents.

If the event is sold out - there is the option to watch via Zoom.

ASK QUESTIONS

  • Why has our City forced increased heights without adequate input from SF residents?
  • How does State Bill 951 (Wiener) erode coastal protections in the Sunset and Parkside area?
  • Who will fund expensive infrastructure for 200,000 new residents?

THINK TWICE

  • Reject widespread construction of 8 to 50 story Miami-style towers that recklessly alter your neighborhood forever.
  • Consider impacts on sunlight, noise, privacy, and congestion.
  • SF can meet the State's housing mandate WITHOUT upzoning!
