Neighborhoods United SF is helping raise funds to pursue a legal challenge to the City's determination that the Marina Safeway project qualifies for streamlined approval under AB 2011.
Our attorneys believe there are serious legal questions that deserve independent judicial review, including whether the law required the known and suspected hazardous waste on the site should have been investigated before the project was approved for streamlined review.
YOUR DONATION WILL HELP FUND: legal counsel, environmental and technical experts, research, court filings, and other costs necessary to pursue the challenge. Every contribution matters.
Without the resources to pursue the case, a judge may never have the opportunity to decide whether the City got this right.
