As many of you are aware, the Breed administration initiated an effort to raise height limits in San Francisco, which the new Lurie administration is now more aggressively pursuing. In the latest proposal, North Beach and Telegraph Hill were added to the map along with Fisherman’s Wharf. The changes will dramatically assist developers in converting our current 40-foot limit into monster high-rises.
Daniel Lurie and Danny Sauter, in conjunction with State Senator Scott Wiener and thePlanning Department, are opening up the floodgates to high-rises, real estate speculation, and residential evictions in our neighborhood.
